Despite the fact that she is Igbo, she is best known for playing Yoruba characters in Nollywood movies. Yoruba roles are perfectly suited to Nkechi’s delivery. Nkechi attended Olu Abiodun Nursery and Primary school, Lagos for her school before going to Barachel Model College, Lagos for her secondary school education.
She subsequently continued her education at Lagos State University, where she earned a diploma in theater arts, and then continued her education at Houdegbe North American University in Benin Republic, where she earned a degree in International Relations. She is currently working in the field.
