Efe Irele is a Nigerian actress and model. She was born on September 4, 1990 in Lagos, Nigeria. Irele is from Edo State, however she was born and raised in Lagos. She has three siblings  Efe Irele attended Corona Primary School in Lagos and Queens College in Yaba for her secondary school.

Efe Irele holds a BSc in Sociology from Bowen University as well as a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Chester in the United Kingdom.

Efe began her career as a model in 2004. She has featured in advertisements for several brands, including Nunu Milk, GLO, Coca-Cola, and Apple Hair Products. She also starred in the music video for Burna Boy’s song “Like to Party” and Adekunle Gold’s Sade in 2012.

Efe Irele made her acting debut in the 2016 Iroko TV series “Aso Ebi”. She has since starred in several other Nollywood movies and series, including “Real Side Chics”, “Wrong Kind of War”, “Ire’s Ire”, “Zahra”, and “Scandals”.

In honor of her autistic younger brother, Benedict, actress Efe launched the Efe Irele Autism Foundation in 2017. The talented actress became interested in autism at a young age in order to help and support her younger brother.

Knowing the extent to which autistic children are stigmatized, actress Efe took advantage of the opportunity to conduct thorough study on the matter while in London. When she returned, she established the organization with the sole intention of providing hope and financial assistance to Autistic children while also encouraging their parents.

She has won several awards for her work, including the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Upcoming Actress of the Year in 2018. She is also a brand ambassador for several brands, including Etisalat Nigeria and L’Oreal Paris.
