The book of Matthew 6:33 clearly states that if one decides to seek first the kingdom of God, every other thing shall be added unto him.

This is one of the very few bible verses that doesn’t speak in parables but is self-explained.

Matthew 6:33– But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

In our various societies, every young man and woman is simply chasing after Money, Wealth, Good life, Vacations, Jobs, and so on.

But the book of Matthew as it was spoken by Jesus after seeing how everyone is chasing after worldly things tells you and me today that all we seek is found in serving the Lord.

What this means is that if we serve God with a very sincere and pure heart, we see his goodness manifesting in our lives.

God doesn’t abandon those who follow him, he is the greatest provider and his gifts have no collateral.

In the bible, all the people that choose to seek first the kingdom of God were never disappointed. Their lives were lifted up above every other person’s, God never let his children down.

God never abandons those who follow him, like a great shepherd, he provides all your needs.

How to seek first the kingdom of God.

There are many ways one true believer or someone who wants to surrender to Christ can seek the kingdom of God.

  1. Pray to God for guidance and support because with him all things are possible.

  2. Stop the pursuit of worldly things that can mislead you from God.

  3. Acknowledge the fact that you are a sinner and ask God for forgiveness.

  4. Spread the word of God all around you.

  5. Emulate the lifestyle of Jesus, lower yours, and the lord will exonerate you, he will lift you higher above your enemies.

  6. Let your heart be filled with the things of God and he will bless you in every other way.
