Ruth was born on June 10, 1920 and she died on Thursday, June 14, 2007 (Age: 87 years old). Her husband, Billy Graham died on: 21 February 2018, years after Ruth passed away.

Ruth graham was born in Qingjiang, China to her parents, “Virginia Leftwich Bell and L. Nelson Bell”. Bell was the second born in a family of five children. Her parents were medical missionaries at a Presbyterian hospital in shanghai.

According to sources, when Ruth turned 13, she was sent to study at Pyeng Yang Foreign School in Pyongyang, Korea, where she studied for three years. After completing her high school education at Montreat NC, she proceeded to college and soon after that, she graduated from Wheaton College in WI.

Personal Life

Ruth bell and her husband Billy graham met while they were still in college and in August 13, 1943, they got married soon after they graduated. She gave birth to five children between 1945 to 1958 and some times she raised most her children without her husband. That was because billy was mostly out for evangelic work across the country.  She gave birth to three girls and two boys and their names are; Virginia (Gigi), Anne, Ruth, Franklin, and Nelson Edman.

A day before the death of Ruth bell, her husband billy graham wrote a statement which reads.. “Ruth is my soul mate and best friend, and I cannot imagine living a single day without her by my side. I am more and more in love with her today than when we first met over 65 years ago as students at Wheaton College”.
