Indra Nooyi (née Krishnamurthy; born October 28, 1955) is an Indian-American business executive and former PepsiCo CEO and Chairman.
She has consistently been named one of the world’s top 100 most powerful women. Nooyi was ranked 13th on Forbes’ list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2014, and she was ranked second on the Fortune list in 2015 and 2017. Indra is also a member of the Amazon and International Cricket Council boards.
Nooyi was born on October 28, 1955, in Madras (now Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India, to a Tamil Brahmin family. Nooyi attended Holy Angels Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in T. Nagar.
