The best part of life is when you learn to love and forget how to hate. But what if the love isn’t reciprocated?.

I happened to be a victim once upon a time. Love controls the peaceful existence of mankind, forget the fact that there are many evil occurrences.

You see different people fighting over things that don’t even matters at all.

late, learn, love and forget hate.

In my twenty-five years on Earth, I have learned one thing which is to always put love first.
With love, you don’t need to hide behind a fake smile pretending all is fine.

Maybe it’s not too late to learn how to love and forget how to hate. Just maybe, because sometimes I keep wondering what life has got for me.

Whenever I try to fall in love and be happy, it seems not to ever work. It somehow looks like I have a doppelganger who’s always a step from me.

I never forget what love feels like, most times I just slip the switch and turn off every rushing of emotions.

Did I ever mention that I fell in love more than I can remember, or was it lust? No!.
I know what I felt because deep down I wasn’t fantasizing about these people.

At one moment I was in love and felt completely happy and full of life, then just like a flash of light everything is gone into thin air.

I wasn’t discouraged, I was just tired of falling in love over and over again, I wanted something that would last.

I wanted to forget what it felt like. It was as if the switch was going away anytime soon.

the good news is that I had a distraction from love, someone who was there when I needed more than a friend.

It’s not too late to learn how to love and forget how to hate.

Her name is… Ruth. Let me tell you a little about us and how we ended up as best friends.
Ruth happens to be one of those girls in my love triangles, she was special.

I felt real love for her to the extent it was as if I was obsessed with her. We talked till late at night and time seems to have paused when I’m with her.

A year after our unending love we split up. Seriously i kind of sulk at the break up so you can imagine what I went through during those moments.

A year later she showed up, but this time with a different route to our relationship. so that’s exactly how I ended up having my ex be my best friend.

There is always a part of me that seems to always whisper ‘maybe it’s not too late to learn how to love and forget how to hate’.

Believe me, I could never hate Ruth, but I wanted to stop loving. The more I thought about it the more it hurt.

My principles in life were to love myself first and I would find another whom I could share with.

Funny but it only seemed like I was making a very big joke out of myself.

Who was going to put up with a broke guy, uneducated, who only knows how to write RELATIONSHIP and LIFESTYLE articles ( so I imagined).

I know there’s a greater good in falling in love without any reason to forget about how you feel rather than hating.

My big question is how do I go about it? How do I find someone who reciprocated the feeling? I’m just a victim of circumstance.

But maybe it’s not too late to learn how to love and forget how to hate.
